Okanagan Lake

One of the most popular destinations in BC, with several large cities bordering the lake, including Vernon, Penticton and Kelowna, the Okanagan is British Columbia's premier wine region, featuring award-winning wineries and restaurants that offer tours and tastings. The region is also home to some of the largest orchards in BC, many of which are operated at roadside stands offering fabulous local apples, peaches, cherries and more. Many marinas line the shores of Okanagan Lake offering temporary moorage, fuel docks, supplies, restaurants and accommodations. Sailing, powerboating, house boating, swimming and water sports are popular activities to enjoy on this pristine and sparkling lake.
